Oneview signs agreements with hospitals across the globe

CHICAGO, Jan. 17, 2018 – Oneview Healthcare, PLC (“Oneview”) (ASX:ONE), a global leader in patient experience and workflow technology, today announced it has signed agreements with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and Mater Misericordiae. This comes on the heels of announcing a contract extension with Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and a research and development partnership with The Chancellor Masters and Scholars of the University of Oxford (the “University”) and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (“OUH”).

UCSF Benioff Oakland entered into a five-year contract with Oneview to deploy over 300 interactive bedside touchscreen devices and interactive patient television locations for patients and their families across the hospital’s existing outpatient center, a new outpatient building currently under construction, the UCSF Benioff Oakland hospital and UCSF Benioff Oakland’s inpatient unit at Summit Medical Center. This follows the deployment of Oneview’s solution at UCSF Health’s Mission Bay campus, which went live in February 2015 in both the pediatric and adult hospitals. Read more in this press release.

Mater Misericordiae, a network of hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Brisbane, Redland and Springfield, Australia, signed an agreement to deploy Oneview’s solution in 904 beds across 9 facilities. Read more in this press release.

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, a not-for-profit cancer treatment center in Sydney, Australia, signed a new six-year contract extension with Oneview. Read more in this press release.

The University and OUH NHS Foundation Trust signed a five-year research and development agreement with Oneview for a clinical pathways product, following the success of a Prostate Cancer Pathway pilot. Prof Freddie Hamdy (Head of Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences, University of Oxford and Divisional director of Surgery and Oncology at OUH) called the partnership “one of the most innovative projects Oxford have done in the past few years.” Read more in this press release.

“We are delighted that such prestigious health systems have chosen Oneview to advance their patient engagement strategy, 2018 is off to an unprecedented start,” said Oneview Founder and President Mark McCloskey. “The rise of consumerism in healthcare, paired with a nursing shortage crisis, is prompting more and more hospitals to leverage next-generation technology to provide a seamless digital experience for patients, while enabling nurses to work more efficiently and effectively.”

In 2017, Oneview announced agreements with several other hospitals, including University Hospitals (UH) of Cleveland, Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and Lancaster General Health.
