Dublin 16th September, 2016: Oneview Healthcare (ASX:ONE) the Australian listed Irish Healthcare company today announced that during the course of 2016 the company will employ 50 new staff in Dublin and a further 50 across the company’s international offices. The announcement was welcomed by Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor at the company’s Irish headquarters in Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
The announcement comes following the signing of multiple contracts with US hospital groups and the previously announced contract signing with Legacy Lifestyles Senior Housing to deploy Oneview’s unique software in their upcoming US facilities.
As part of their wider expansion plans Oneview expects to increase the company’s total employee numbers in line with continued contract successes. All research development activities remain domiciled in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. By the end of 2017 the Oneview platform will be live in a minimum of 20 healthcare facilities worldwide including six of the fifteen top ranked hospitals in the United States.
The contract with Legacy Lifestyles will see Oneview technology deployed in senior housing units in the USA. Legacy Lifestyles is a fully integrated company for the development, construction and long-term management / ownership of senior housing communities in North America, with offices in Florida, Arizona and Ontario, Canada. The company has acquired six development properties to date with construction due to commence on the first community this Autumn and an additional five communities breaking ground by mid-2017. Thereafter, the company plans to develop 6-12 communities each year.

Oneview President and Founder Mark McCloskey, who was recently announced as a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme, welcomed the announcement saying,

In addition, patients will be able to exchange messages with medical personnel, nursing staff, access a wide range of information and entertainment via the internet, view live free to air and cable TV and stay connected to family and friends via live video streaming services such as Skype.”
